Description:
Introduction:
Diego Portales University was founded in 1982 and was awarded full university status by the Chilean Ministry of Education in 1993. With its main campus spread around the central part of the city of Santiago, it is an ideal location to be immersed in Chilean culture and society. The university is one of the finest and represents a new era of private universities in Chile, which have just recently emerged within the past two decades to rival the top public universities. Over 12,000 students attend the university. All coursework is in Spanish and students must have an excellent command of the language
